Marc and Michael Schoen of Savitt Partners arrange 3,800 s/f lease expansion

Best & Co., a leading children's apparel brand combining classic styling and unique details, has expanded its showroom space from 2,000 s/f to 3,800 s/f at 530 Seventh Ave. The company will now occupy part of the 28th floor of the 460,000 s/f property owned by Savitt Partners and located in the Fashion District at 39th St. The Savitt Partners father-son team of Marc Schoen and Michael Schoen represented Best & Co., as well as the building ownership in negotiating the long-term lease. The additional space will enable Best & Co. to better meet its growing business requirements. Its newly expanded showroom at 530 Seventh Ave. includes panoramic views of the city. Built in 1930, the Art-Deco 530 Seventh Ave. is widely-recognized as the premier location for many of the hottest fashion companies in the contemporary, junior and missy category, as well as, designer, bridge, menswear, urban, footwear and accessory industries. In addition to Best & Co., other high-profile tenants in the property include Laundry by Shelli Segal, Jantzen, C&C of California YMI Jeanswear, Danskin and Showroom Delfina representing Clione. What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
