Mancini*Duffy acquires TSC Design

In the latest significant development in the firm's ongoing strategy to further diversify and strengthen its practice, Mancini*Duffy has acquired certain assets of the interior design firm TSC Design. Founded in 1995 by owner William Sotomayor, 48, TSC is headquartered in NYC with an additional office in Little Falls, New Jersey. Sotomayor becomes a principal and member of Mancini*Duffy's board of directors and management committee. "These are both highly successful, dynamic organizations," said Anthony Schirripa, FAIA, IIDA, chairman of Mancini*Duffy. "By uniting the two, we refine and strengthen the services and skills provided by each and create a practice of even greater value to our clients." Sotomayor describes the acquisition as a significant path to growth in size and depth. "I have long admired Mancini*Duffy, for their reputation for design excellence and their expertise in project implementation," he said. The firm will operate in New York and New Jersey as Mancini*Duffy/TSC, at 275 7th Ave.
