Magnusson Architecture and Planning elevates Jones

New York, NY Magnusson Architecture and Planning promoted Christopher Jones to principal.

Jones has been with the firm for nearly 14 years, and in addition to his project management and construction administration duties he has been managing studio production and output, as well as overseeing technical documentation standards and the adoption of new digital design tools. Jones also plays a key role in researching and implementing a variety of construction typologies and material assemblies aimed at providing the cost-effective quality that is the hallmark of the firm’s work.

“This change builds on Chris’s long history of hard work and leadership at MAP and the skillful, seasoned design, project management and construction administration that our clients rely on,” said Magnus Magnusson, principal. “Everyone who has worked with him knows Chris’s dedication, reliability and expertise. We have a lot of trust in each other and we are all very excited about our future together!” said Fernando Villa, principal.
