Manhattan, NY Cushman & Wakefield has arranged a long-term, 21,950 s/f lease for Lyceum Kennedy School at 815 Second Avenue, consisting of a renewal of the school's existing space on the second floor and an expansion onto the entire third floor.
Cushman & Wakefield’s David Hoffman and Sam Hoffman represented the tenant, Lyceum Kennedy School, in the transaction. The landlord, Episcopal Church, was represented by Bill Savarese and Jamie DeJong, both with Parish Property Management.
"Lyceum Kennedy’s search criteria included direct access to the above grade space from the street and close proximity to both Lyceum’s lower school at 225 East 43rd Street and the United Nations," said Hoffman.
Lyceum Kennedy School is doubling its footprint to accommodate its growing upper school student population, many of whom are international students.
“We actually uncovered a surprising number of options but, ultimately, 815 Second Avenue offered the best solution,” Hoffman added.
Lyceum Kennedy School serves students from early childhood through 12th grade by providing a rigorous, bilingual education that cultivates international thinking and intercultural respect.
815 Second Avenue offers access to Grand Central Station and numerous dining, retail and entertainment options.
