Long Island Real Estate Group contributes $50,000 to Katz Institute

The Long Island Real Estate Group has contributed $50,000 to the Every Woman Matters Walk, a fundraiser for the Katz Institute for Women's Health and Katz Women's Hospitals of the North Shore-LIJ Health System. Proceeds raised for the 5 km. walk, scheduled for May 22 along the Jones Beach Boardwalk, will support the Katz Institute for Women's Health and Katz Women's Hospitals of the North Shore-LIJ Health System. LIREG, a networking and philanthropic group composed of executives in the real estate industry and allied trades, will be a title sponsor for the walk. "The Long Island Real Estate Group takes seriously its efforts to make a difference on Long Island," said president David Einbinder. "I am very proud of how far we have come and of the tremendous good we do." LIREG has contributed more than $500,000 to numerous real estate-related projects undertaken by charities on Long Island. In addition to the Katz Women's Hospital, LIREG has made contributions to Angela's House, Camp Anchor, Children's Medical Fund of New York, Family Service League, Fitzgerald House, The Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, Haven House/Bridges Inc., Hospice Care Network, Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation, North Shore Holiday House, Ronald McDonald House of Long Island, Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center, St. Francis Hospital and Sunrise Day Camp. "Your commitment is incredibly valuable to us and to the countless patients who will benefit from your generosity," said Richard D. Goldstein, chairman of the North Shore-LIJ Board of Trustees. "We are pleased that the Long Island Real Estate Group recognizes the importance of our work to enhance women's health and wellness, and has partnered with us to be one of the Title Sponsors for this, and next year's."
