Long Island chapter of CAI recognized for having largest chapter growth

The L.I. chapter of Community Associations Institute (CAI) was recognized as having the largest chapter growth in the country, 19% in 2010, at their Annual Conference and Exposition at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, Fla. The chapter's past president, Peter Dumelle, VP of business & professional banking at M & T Bank, said, "We keep on trying to expand the role of CAI on L.I., and continue to grow the chapter." President-elect Frank Socci, Jr., principal of NAI L.I. accepted the award on behalf of the chapter. Community Associations Institute (CAI) Community Associations Institute is a national, nonprofit 501 (6) association created in 1973 to provide education and resources to America's 231,000 residential condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations and related professionals and service providers. The Institute is dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations that promote harmony, community and responsible leadership.
