Lightstone Group inks 5-year, 30,000 s/f lease at Kings Fairground Plaza

The Lightstone Group has completed a lease with Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc. at Kings Fairground Plaza. Ollie's Bargain Outlet, one of the Mid-Atlantic's largest retailers of closeout, surplus, and salvage merchandise, is expanding its retail presence in the state with a five-year lease for 30,000 s/f. This new location is part of the company's aggressive growth plan. Nestled on the Northwest corner of Piney Forest Rd., Kings Fairground Plaza is located at the intersection of Rte. 29 and Rte. 58. "We're very pleased that Lightstone's relationship with Ollie's has fostered a new store location in Danville," said Jeff Dash, vice president of retail leasing for The Lightstone Group. Ollie's presence will be a welcome contribution to Danville's positive job growth." What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
