LIDC borrowers receive small business awards

LIDC borrowers Souvenir Collection, Inc. and Robbie Wagner Tournament Training, Inc. both received the prestigious LIBDC Small Business of the Year awards at LIBDC's Annual Conference at Gurneys Inn, on September 24. The Long Island Business Development Council is LI's oldest business networking group with members from government, economic development, the banking and real estate community as well as business and development. Robbie Wagner Tournament Training, Inc. received the Nassau County Small Business of the Year award. Their first mortgage was provided by Sovereign Bank, represented by Sr. V.P, Ray Downey. The Suffolk County award was presented to Souvenir Collection, Inc. Souvernir's first mortgage was done by Citibank N.A. whose representatives, Barbara Liguori and Julia Zinkowski, turned out to help present the award.
