Levy joins Sperry Van Ness as senior advisor

Ben Levy, who has nine years of experience in national commercial real estate and who possesses an even more unusual background, has joined Long Island's newest commercial real estate firm, Sperry Van Ness Commercial Real Estate Advisors, as a senior advisor. Levy, formerly brokerage director at Camco Services of New York Inc., a Port Jefferson Station-based property management firm, is a former nuclear engineer, inventor and an ex-senior corporate executive in the high technology industry. He previously was director of business development for the then-Hauppauge-based semiconductor-equipment manufacturer, Anorad Corp., a division of Rockwell Automation. He also was a principal and managing director of EcoTech Vision, a start up high-tech company and the founder and chief operating officer of Fortress Technology, a network security company targeting financial institutions, the health care industry and government. He holds two patents on network security technology.
