Kovac of H2M becomes licensed professional engineer

Natalie Kovac, project engineer in the mechanical engineering division of H2M architects + engineers since May, 2009 has passed the New York State Mechanical Professional Engineering Exam and is now a licensed professional engineer (P.E.). Her successful completion of the two-part exam authorizes Kovac to practice mechanical engineering and under a professional title in the State of New York.
"I am excited to have my P.E. and start the next phase of my career," said Kovac.
At H2M, Kovac's work includes the preparation of heating and cooling load calculations, equipment selection, piping and duct system design, site investigations and evaluation of existing HVAC and plumbing systems, shop drawing review, and construction management.

She is a LEED Accredited Professional by the USGBC, certified TRANE Air Conditioning Clinic & TRANE HVAC Software Training. She is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers; American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, Air Conditioning Engineers; Pi Mu Epsilon; ACE Mentor Program.
