Konopka appointed real estate consultant at New York Commercial Real Estate, Ltd.

New York Commercial Real Estate, Ltd. has appointed Christopher Konopka as real estate consultant. In his new role, Konopka, a licensed real estate sales associate, will concentrate in the areas of: office, industrial and retail sales and leasing including serving national tenants; investment property sales; land development; build-to-suits and property management. Prior to joining, Konopka served as a real estate sales associate with Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate. Konopka earned his bachelor of arts from Stony Brook University and an associates degree from Suffolk Community College. He resides in St. James, NY.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
