Jones Lang LaSalle has hired Hitoshi Aratani as a senior vice president and head of Japanese business services for the firm's New York tri-state region.
Aratani, has more than 20 years of experience in real estate brokerage and banking.
He will be responsible for strengthening Jones Lang LaSalle's capabilities in managing relationships, developing business opportunities and improving its services to Japanese corporations doing business in the United States, Asia and Europe.
"Hitoshi Aratani will be crucial to Jones Lang LaSalle's efforts to manage its key Japanese client relationships," said Peter Riguardi, president of Jones Lang LaSalle's New York office. "His considerable expertise will help us analyze our clients' real estate needs and provide solutions that integrate Japenese decision making."
