Teresa Tota, CPM, executive vice president of R.Y. Management will be the recipient of the prestigious 2007 Certified Property Manager of the Year Award. Tota embodies all that the CPM stands for — she has achieved professional excellence through significant real estate management experience, combined with extensive education and high ethics. The Accredited Resident Manager of the year will be awarded to Edward Andron, ARM, vice president of Leebar Management Corp. Andron has also recently been named to the IREM Greater New York Chapter executive committee, where he will serve as vice president of Chapter Activities. Certified Property Manager Candidates of the Year include Andrew DeSchino of Rose Associates and Jennifer Salvato of NAI Long Island. IREM's industry partners are an integral part of our success. This year, we have selected Peter Schwartz of Graubard Miller as the Industry Partner of the Year. Throughout the years, Graubard Miller has demonstrated their commitment to IREM time and time again and we very much appreciate the support they give our organization. This year, our chapter has once again decided to support a cause that we believe to be most worthy—Toys for Tots. Please, stop by your local toy store and purchase a new toy to donate to a child in need. Bring it with you to the Annual Dinner & Awards. This one simple act will bring a smile to a child on Christmas morning. What could be better than that?
Whether you are a member of IREM, a friend or colleague, or perhaps you're someone who is interested in finding out what we're all about, I invite you to join us on November 14th—this event is always worth attending. But hurry, because tickets do sell out quickly!
