Jantz joins VVA, LLC as director

According to VVA, LLC, the leading project management and consulting firm, Richard Jantz has joined their team of project management professionals, as a director. Jantz joins VVA after thirteen years as a senior vice president in project and development services for Jones Lang LaSalle. He possess over fifteen years of project and program management experience including leading diverse project teams and analyzing organization's critical business requirements to develop optimal real estate solutions. Jantz's most notable recent project was the management of Time Warner's equity interest during the development of Time Warner Center. During this project he managed two distinct teams. One focused on the oversight of the building's core and shell activities including budget, schedule, and cost allocations and the other on full-scope project management services for the 1.1 million s/f tenant fit-out to house Time Warner Headquarters, CNN, TBS and other TW affiliates. The value of these projects exceeded $1 billion. He also completed a project for Columbia University's Department of Medicine, the scope of which included full laboratories with fume hoods, reverse osmosis water systems, gas, high temperature medical device cleaning systems, clean rooms, and pressurized spaces. Before joining VVA, Jantz not only represented clients as a project manager on various real estate and development projects but also participated in day to day management of JLL's Northeast Region as a member of the management committee and was the Northeast Region's Learning and Development representative providing ongoing educational programs as well as helping developing corporate standards and processes. A LEED Accredited Professional, he received a bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and a master in Architecture from Syracuse University in Florence, Italy.
