James E. Fitzgerald completes 27,000 s/f expansion for Agoda

Agoda new space on the 66th floor of the Empire State Building.

Manhattan, NY James E. Fitzgerald, Inc. has completed its general contracting work for the headquarters of Agoda, an online travel company. The project comprised an overhaul of the full 66th floor of the Empire State Building with a team including Vocon Architecture, MG Engineering and Jones Lang LaSalle Inc.

Formerly located on the 47th floor of the Empire State Building, which includes 7,600 s/f, Agoda expanded their office to the 27,000 s/f space on the 66th floor to create a more collaborative environment. As a tech-based company, they opted for an open floor plan to foster communication and better workflow. The space features such an exposed ceiling, modern concrete flooring, exposed steel columns and has 360-degree views.

“It’s an honor to be the contractor of choice for companies seeking such dramatic change in their workplace,” said Michael DeLisio, principal at James E. Fitzgerald. “We’re proud of our involvement with this stunning, prestigious location and we wish Agoda all the best moving forward.”
