Jafri Capital arranges $2 million for hotel acquisition financing

Shahid Jafri

North Brunswick, NJ Jafri Capital, LLC has successfully arranged a $2 million acquisition loan. Shahid Jafri originated, arranged, & negotiated the terms on behalf of the sponsor with a New York based hedge fund.

“We were attracted to this hospitality opportunity given its significant discounted going in basis and were comfortable borrower’s strong hotel track record” said Jafri.

The financing comes during a time where hotel deals are almost at a standstill and only very selective deals are getting finished. Jafri Capital’s recent strategic partnership with Lynx Mortgage Bank LLC, Commercial Division, has allowed the firm to target both bridge and conventional options for hotel owners.

Jafri Capital also recently announced it is developing a capital markets platform bringing Wall Street to Main Street, combining humans and technology, for a competitive edge. Jafri Capital’s Ege Ozcan worked directly with the borrower from term sheet to close.

“We look forward to combining great people with greater technology" said Jafri.
