Ismael Leyva designs Greenpoint skyscraper

Brooklyn, NY As redevelopment and revitalization of borough neighborhoods continue apace, architect Ismael Leyva continues his contributions to the area’s inventory of architecture with one of his latest projects, The Greenpoint. 

Located at 21 India St., The Greenpoint is a 39-story, 603-unit waterfront skyscraper, and Greenpoint’s tallest tower. The building will bring 95 condos and 287 rental apartments to a block-long stretch of the area

In February, the tower completed its façade and topped out. The project is slated for completion in 2018.

Leyva has a roster of more than 60 buildings in the tri-state area and is dominating the Flatbush Ave.corridor from Downtown Brooklyn to Fort Greene with high-profile developments such as 66 Rockwell, the Oro, and BKLYN AIR.
