Ismael Leyva designs BKLYN|AIR at 309 Gold St.

Ismael Leyva Architects has designed the exterior and interior of BKLYN|AIR, a 40-story residential high rise at 309 Gold St. The project is under construction and expected to be completed this fall. Developed and owned by Lalezarian Properties LLC, the building will soar 40 stories, totaling 260,000 s/f, including 255 rental residences. Future residents will have access to a wide array of amenities, many of which are on a beautifully appointed rooftop, including an outdoor terrace, 50 foot lap pool, a fitness center, residents lounge, yoga room, and lobby lounge. Residents will also have access to over 35,000 s/f of parking. "This new luxury rental building will be another grand element in the evolving Brooklyn skyline. We are proud to have been selected by Lalezarian Properties LLC to design this rental building that will provide New Yorkers with the highest quality residential spaces in a convenient rental property," said Ismael Leyva, president of Ismael Leyva Architects. BKLYN|AIR will be comprised of luxury finishes from the lobby to each apartment, all designed by Ismael Leyva. The lobby, a combination of Grigio Serpeggiante stone and Traverk Series-Wenge tile provide an elegant entry, with custom art work by Amanda Weil and a chandelier by Studio BelVetro. Apartments include polished Calacatta stone bathroom vanities and top-of-the-line GE Profile series appliances. The building will be comprised of a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments. BKLYN|AIR will afford views of both the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges and transportation access to other Brooklyn neighborhoods and the surrounding boroughs.
