IREM NYC’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace

Manhattan, NY IREM NYC’s DEI committee is hosting a breakfast on Tuesday, June 18th from 8:00-10:00 at The New York Life Building, 51 Madison Ave.

While diversity, equity and inclusion are popular topics in the media and for many progressive organizations, the concepts can be slippery and elusive. What is DEI? Why is it important? How do you know if your organization is diverse and practices inclusivity?

At IREM, we believe in delivering a “welcome all” service experience — for your property, staff, tenants, and residents. You’ll gain valuable insights into becoming a DEI champion. DEI elevates properties and empowers careers. It can also increase revenue, attract and retain diversified talent and increase innovation at your company. Learning new skills in DEI also mitigates financial risk for your company, which in turn, pays for itself.

Attendees will have the option to learn best practices in diversity, equity, and inclusion by earning the new IREM Skill Badge: Building DEI at no charge.

So start your day with coffee, breakfast and an informative and thought-provoking discussion about DEI in the workplace. Come ready to discuss your thoughts, experiences and company’s best practices all while getting better acquainted with your IREM NYC colleagues!
