Amherst, NY Megan Wereski was recently hired as a licensed commercial real estate salesperson at MJ Peterson.

Wereski’s father, Jeff Wereski, executive director of leasing of the north east for Benderson Development, was a key contributor to her career choice.

She obtained a degree in Psychology from UB, but always admired her father and the work that he did. It didn’t take long before she decided that she wanted to enter the commercial real estate industry as well.

As a newly licensed salesperson who still needed to find her niche in the market, Wereski approached Dorothy “Stahlnecker” Smith at MJ Peterson looking for a mentor. Stahlnecker quickly turned her mentorship into an internship, and then finally into a permanent position with MJ Peterson.

“We are absolutely delighted to have Megan join us at MJ Peterson,” said Stahlnecker, licensed associate real estate broker at MJ Peterson. “Her intelligence, drive and determination will help take our commercial division to the next level.”
