Taylor – The Builders celebrates ribbon cutting at new Pace Electronics
Williamson, NY Owners, clients, vendors, and staff were joined by town, county, and state representatives to celebrate the official ribbon cutting and open house of the new Pace Electronics expanded location at 4392 State Rte. 104.
Pace teamed with regional commercial general contractor, Taylor – The Builders, for design and construction of the expansion that featured construction of a new 50,000 s/f warehouse and various renovations/addition to the existing buildings and site.
“While we searched several
areas to relocate, the decision to stay in Wayne County was driven by our dedicated long-term employees and the local workforce talent,” said Pace Electronics’ CEO, Dawn Smith. “The newly constructed headquarters allowed us the ability to advance our state-side manufacturing capabilities, warehouse all our products in one facility and give us the space required to increase our workforce.”
The expansion created 15 new jobs; 28 jobs were retained within the Wayne County-based business. Pace Electronics has been named to the Fortune 500 list of the 100 Best Workplaces for Women, with women comprising half of the company’s workforce, while 67% are company executives. Smith has served as Pace Electronics’ CEO since 2012.
