What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why? One of the most rewarding aspects of my work this year has been continuing to expand The Learning Experience’s national growth. Every successful location represents far more than a real estate transaction, it creates jobs, supports working families, and provides children with a safe place to learn and grow.

What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why? Much of my practice is focused on distressed lending. These matters are rewarding because they often require creative problem-solving with no clear playbook, and close partnership with our clients as we navigate challenging and stressful situations together.

What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why? The completion of ANCP Morningside has been especially meaningful. By converting three formerly city-owned buildings into 36 permanently affordable cooperative homes, we created opportunities for families to build equity and remain in the communities they love.

What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career? My mentor taught me the importance of leading by example and setting the tone for people that you’re working on a deal with, as it can have a significant impact on both the deal and the relationship with the client.

What leadership lesson has made the greatest impact on your career? The leadership lesson that has had the greatest impact on my career is to lead by listening first. The best outcomes often come from understanding the people, pressures, and priorities behind an issue before offering direction.

What was the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in the past 12 months, and why? Riverside Park South Phase 6 on Manhattan’s Upper West Side is the project I’m proudest of this year. As project manager, the outcome was mine to deliver.

What trend or change in commercial real estate do you believe will have the biggest impact over the next five years? AI tools will have a significant positive impact on the commercial real estate industry over the next few years by helping professionals work more efficiently, analyze market trends more accurately, and make more informed business decisions.
