Stirling to develop 60,000 s/f medical center

According to Stirling Properties, the Medical Arts Pavilion at Lakeview Regional Medical Center will be developed. Located at Fairway Dr. and Hwy. 190, the two, three-story, 60,000 s/f class A medical office buildings will be one of the newest medical office complexes in the New Orleans metropolitan area. The ground breaking ceremony was held in September. Gensler is designing the buildings. The Medical Arts Pavilion will provide a fully integrated healthcare complex with a network of providers and services at Lakeview Regional Medical Center. The center has a reputation for ensuring that its staff physicians, their practices, and patients benefit from the development of high quality, responsive hospital programs and services, supported by a cost efficient, strategically planned medical center. Phase I will include the construction of the first building and is slated for completion in Fall 2010. The Pavilion will offer ample parking and convenient access to the hospital's main building. "With the recent increases in population in St. Tammany Parish the Medical Arts Pavilion at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington will help meet the increased demand in high quality health care," said Jason Cobb, Lakeview Regional's CEO. "It's proximity to Lakeview physicians and medical services will positively impact our patients and in turn the overall health of our community. The commitment by a local investment group to invest in this project is encouraging; and I believe the community will be the ultimate beneficiary."
