Silver of Treeline reps. owner in 15,000 s/f lease

The Visiting Nurses Association of L.I. has signed a long-term renewal for its 15,000 s/f offices at the Treeline Cos.' 100 Garden City Plaza. Kraig Silver, senior VP of Treeline, represented the owner. Steve Tomback of Schacker Real Estate Group represented the tenant. The Visiting Nurse Association of Long Island, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing home health and community based services which enhance quality of life for clients and their families. They have been providing quality home health care services to the Long Island community for 95 years. "We are extremely pleased that the Visiting Nurses Association of Long Island has chosen to renew their lease at 100 Garden City Plaza," said Silver. "In addition to law firms and other professional services, not-profit and service industry tenants are attracted to our properties at Garden City Plaza because of their accessibility to major highways and public transportation, as well as the hands-on management and responsiveness to tenant needs that the Treeline Companies provides." According to Executive Vice President Howard Schor, The Treeline Companies has extensive experience in working with non-profit groups throughout their Long Island and Brooklyn portfolios, and has developed a unique expertise in addressing the complex needs of these organizations that has proved to be particularly attractive to these tenants. Located adjacent Roosevelt Field Mall, 100 Garden City Plaza is a five-story, Class A office property. The131,000 sq. ft building was built in1969 and renovated in 2001. Other tenants in the building include Berkman, Henoch, Peterson & Peddy, Rosenberg Calica and Birney, and Norcatec, a defense contractor. Established in 1985, The Treeline Companies is a premier, full-service real estate ownership and investment firm based in Garden City, New York. Although Treeline's roots are in Long Island, its branches extend throughout the five boroughs of New York City and the greater New York Metropolitan area.
