Sabre arranges 1,050 s/f lease for Blue Bottle Coffee

Sabre Real Estate Group LLC, the metropolitan region's newest retail broker and Pan Brothers Associates has arranged a lease in Park Slope, for a café to be operated by gourmet coffee roaster Blue Bottle Coffee. Sabre, working on behalf of the landlord, Nicholas Estates Realty Corp., arranged a lease for a 1,050 s/f corner location. The space formerly occupied by Ocean Fish Market, offers 50 ft. of frontage on 7th Ave. and 30 ft. on 3rd St. Previously, Sabre along with Pan Brothers Associates arranged a lease for the adjoining 7th Ave. retail space for European Wax Center. Blue Bottle, a coffee roaster and retail chain based in Oakland, California and specializing in single-origin coffee beans has been expanding in the East. They are known for their carefully crafted coffee at "pour-over bars." The company has $45 million in venture funding from Silicon Valley investors. According to Blue Bottle's website, each location is tailored to match its surroundings. At this location, there will also be a food program. On the menu, there will be items such as soups, sandwiches, and salads. Scott Sher, a principal of Sabre, along with Pan Brothers Associates Inc. represented Nicholas Estates Realty Corp. Julian Hitchcock of the F&B Group represented Blue Bottle.
