The location represents an expansion for the company, bringing its presence in that area to 50,000 s/f. Pearl Studios NYC's other location is across the street at 500 8th Ave.
"Pearl Studios NYC needed a very specific kind of space: high ceiling clearance and wide column spacing in a property where ownership supports non-traditional uses," said Ira Rovitz, senior director, office group at Grubb & Ellis, who represented Pearl Studios NYC. "At 519 8th Ave., we think we found an ideal location for the company's growth."
Rovitz also represented the company in its 35,000 s/f lease at 500 8th Ave. in 2007.
