Ones To Watch: Innovators in CRE: Anthony Mormile, Orange Bank & Trust Company

Anthony Mormile

Innovation Highlight:

What I am most proud of is helping establish and grow Orange Bank & Trust’s presence in the Bronx, a community where I was born and raised. Over the past five years, we have opened two successful branches, with a third in development, while generating significant deposit and loan growth. Equally important, we have invested in local organizations and businesses, helping strengthen the economic vitality of a borough that has given so much to me.

Industry Outlook:

I see the biggest opportunities for innovation in commercial real estate through the continued adoption of artificial intelligence. AI can help property owners improve operational efficiency, analyze building performance, and make more informed decisions in real time. In banking, AI has the potential to streamline underwriting and credit analysis, allowing for faster evaluations and decision-making. It also gives smaller property owners access to sophisticated analytical tools that were once only available through costly third-party consultants, creating greater efficiency and opportunities.
