NYCREW Network to celebrate 10th anniversary on November 29; To honor achievement of members with vanguard awards

NYCREW Network, the New York chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Women Network (CREW), will honor the achievements of its most accomplished members - and its own 10th anniversary - with the Vanguard Awards, a special ceremony to be held in conjunction with its holiday celebration at the elegant Columbus Townhouse, 8 East 69th St., on Tuesday, November 29th, from 6:30 p.m. The evening will begin with cocktails, followed by a dinner and the presentation of the awards at 8 p.m. Created for this anniversary event, the Vanguard Awards will honor those individuals who have achieved pioneering success in helping to advance women in the real estate industry, according to Karen Dome of Marcus & Millichap, and 2011-12 NYCREW president and chairman of the board. The awards recognize various types of professional and personal success and leadership. The awards include: the Pioneer Spirit Award, the Avant-Garde Award, the Pinnacle Award, the Leadership Award and the Visionary Award. The awards will be the highlight of a celebration co-chaired by Faith Hope Consolo of Prudential Douglas Elliman's Retail Group, and NYCREW 2011 board member/director of communications, and Christine Chipurnoi of Wells Fargo Insurance Services of New York, and NYCREW 2011 board member/secretary. Also serving on the 10th Anniversary planning committee are Leila Larijani of UBS Financial Services, Kennetha Pettus of Unified New Cassel Community Revitalization Corp., and several of NYCREW's long-term members. Serving on the sponsorship committee are Stephanie Cuba of CC Strategies LLC, Theresa Garelli, Esq. of Horizon Land Services, LLC, and Laura Walker of Citibank.
