NAIOP launches website for State Legislative Day

Chapters needing assistance in planning their State Legislative Day at the Capitol now have a resource for all of their organizational needs. NAIOP created a State Legislative Day at the Capitol website for chapters looking for more information to arrange a visit to your state's capitol. The site is also an outlet for those who have planned a successful event to share their successes through stories and photos. In addition, members can find NAIOP's new "Planning Your Day at the Capitol" brochure and a chapter checklist that includes all of the details your chapter needs to know to get the word out to members about your important visit to state lawmakers. As chapters complete events, their press releases, photos and summaries will be posted online, allowing members to celebrate their effective face-to-face meetings and learn from one another. For more information, contact Mark Riso, senior director of state and local affairs, at (703) 904-7100, ext. 116, or Melissa Huffman, director of state and local affairs, at (703) 904-7100, ext. 110.
