Murrett of Colliers International nominated president of the Appraisal Institute

The Appraisal Institute has nominated James Murrett as the Appraisal Institute 2016 vice president. The Appraisal Institute is recognized as the leader in the real estate appraisal industry and is one of the oldest organizations of real estate appraisers in the world. Murrett is the executive managing director in the northeast United States for Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services in Buffalo and has vast experience in the appraisal of a variety of properties for public, institutional and private clients throughout New York State and other parts of the United States. Murrett also has been a major contributor in appraisal education throughout the United States.
