Morzello named managing director for asset services at CBRE

According to CBRE Group, Inc., Theresa Morzello has joined the company as managing director for asset services. "Morzello will direct services ranging from property management to project management, due diligence and accounting activities, as well as providing hands-on leadership for more than 50 properties," said Paul Allegretti, senior managing director of investor services, N.Y. tri-state region, CBRE. "CBRE is proud to welcome Theresa, a top property management talent who brings high-level experience in delivering best-in-class asset services to New York City commercial property owners," said Allegretti. Previously with, Cushman & Wakefield, Morzello gained industry expertise in a number of positions, beginning in 2006. In addition to serving as a portfolio manager, she was a general manager for a dual-campus portfolio for New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Royal Charter Properties. Beyond Morzello's experience with real estate firms, she has also held management positions in corporations, including taking on multiple roles at MetLife, and providing facilities expertise as a property manager for Emigrant Savings Bank. She began her career as an engineer at the New York Power Authority. A resident of Putnam County, Morzello holds a bachelor of science in Engineering from Loyola College.
