Metalios of RE/MAX to be honored by Quality Services for the Autism Community with Philantropic Leadership Award at Believe Gala June 13th

Queens, NY Evan Metalios, Esq., licensed broker/owner RE/MAX Team in Jackson Heights, will be honored with the Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC) Philantropic Leadership Award at the Believe Gala on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at The Lighthouse Chelsea Piers. QSAC was founded by parents of children with autism nearly 40 years ago; today it provides pre-school, primary school and after school programs as well as in-home services for adults and much more.

“I have served as a board member of QSAC for 12 years and I was also treasurer for four years. I regularly offer guidance and council in support of the organization’s mission. Families with children and family members on the autism spectrum are faced with many challenges. Through QSAC we are giving them the support and services that they need,” Metalios said.  “I am fortunate to work with exceptional real estate professionals at RE/MAX Team and RE/MAX LLC. I appreciate the support that they give to me and their support of QSAC which serves our neighborhoods right here in Queens.”

Each year Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC) recognizes individuals who have made a commitment to supporting children and adults with autism achieve greater independence and contribute to their communities in a meaningful way. Evan Metalios, a QSAC board member and the 2017 Believe Gala Chair is working double time to make the June fund raising event a huge success. His goal is to raise $100,000. All funds raised will have a direct impact on the lives of 2,300 children and adults with autism and their families.
