Mesmer and Meyer of Colliers International rep tenant, Micro Office, in 33,000 s/f lease
Micro Office Solutions has leased 33,000 s/f on the sixth and seventh floors at 902 Broadway. The Silicon Alley space will be home to Launch Pad, the firm's first office suite division targeted to technology and new media startups.
"We're the only managed office space company of this size in New York to target tech and new media startups," said David Rotbard, co-founder of Micro Office, which has doubled in size in the past year. "Activity in this sector continues to grow, and with improvements in Manhattan's office market, the time is right for us to expand in this new direction."
When it opens in the fall, Launch Pad will feature 70 private offices and 130 workstations. Common areas will include a reception area, conference room, lounge and game room.
"Tech businesses do well in shared office environments where collaboration and communal interaction is abundant," said Rotbard. "We want to provide our tenants with the space and the amenities they need to thrive."
Colliers International executive managing director Perry Mesmer and vice chairman Martin Meyer represented Micro Office and building owner 902 Associates, a real estate firm led by Jonathan Rosen.
