McGuire Development promotes Krall, hires Askey

Buffalo, NY McGuire Development Company has promoted Nancy Krall to assistant controller and has hired Brian Askey as associate director of development.

Krall will assist the accounting and property management departments in refining processes and procedures, furthering the company’s integrated software capabilities and enhancing all reporting activities. She will also continue to perform month-end and year-end close analysis for all properties, conduct quarterly and annual reporting and work with the controller to review all new leases, renewals and amendments, ensuring all information is entered into the company’s internal systems.

Krall as more than 25 years of experience in accounting and has worked in a number of industries including commercial real estate, insurance, manufacturing and health care. She has a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University.

Askey will work closely with the finance, sales, accounting, property management and construction departments to provide underwriting assistance for portfolio properties, analysis of properties for potential acquisition or development and contract negotiation.

While earning his MBA at St. John Fisher College, Askey provided financial, operational, sustainability and marketing consulting services for start-up and established companies in the energy, technology, hospitality and manufacturing industries.
