New York, NY Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP hosted Real Estate Investment & Financing in Today’s Capital Markets: Opportunities Utilizing Debt and Equity, a discussion panel on Thursday, October 29th at Club 101. Fresh Perspective on Financing Real Estate in NYC The expert panel was composed of Edward Minskoff, president of Edward J. Minskoff Equities, Inc., Richard Wagman, managing partner & founder of Madison Capital and Bryan Czop, executive VP of Wells Fargo, and was moderated by Daniel Geiger, Crain’s NY senior real estate reporter. Over 200 attendees enjoyed the thought-provoking discussion including expert tips and industry trends such as the uniqueness of each individual deal, new perspectives and tools top developers are using to finance their projects. Panelists also discussed the different aspects of debt v. equity, foreign investment, mezzanine financing, the rise of private REITs and traditional bank debt. They also used their own current projects as case studies on finance strategy.
