Managing director Lack of NGKF Retail represents Lefkas Hospitality in 750 s/f lease
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) Retail has repositioned 88-96 Third Ave. with two new food and beverage tenants, bringing the property to full occupancy.
Han Dynasty signed a 2,900 s/f lease at 90 Third Ave. for its seventh location nationwide.
Lefkas Hospitality is taking the remaining 750 s/f, with an entrance at 139 East 12th St., for its second gourmet coffee and wine bar location.
Lefkas Hospitality was represented by NGKF Retail managing director Jared Lack and BKR partner's Brian Kanarek represented Han Dynasty.
Lack exclusively represents MGM Management's retail portfolio in New York City concluded the successful retail leasing campaign for the 10,000 s/f of retail space at the pre-war apartment complex.
"Given its great location and visibility, we arranged to fill this pre-war building complex's six retail spaces with a wide array of quick service food operators," said Lack. "Families benefit from the convenience of having various dining options. Also, the draw from Union Square and several NYU and The New School dormitories adds to the vibrancy of the area."
Lack is also currently marketing another space for MGM on the Upper East Side, a 4,300 s/f, vented restaurant space at 1460 2ndAvenue that is next door to The Meatball Shop, which soon will open between 76th and 77th Streets. "It's the largest available restaurant space in the area, and, with the subway construction already completed here, a real hotspot."
