Hutchinson Metro Center signs three new medical leases totaling 26,041 s/f

The Hutchinson Metro Center has signed a total of 26,041 s/f in new leases at the 42-acre campus. The law firm of Pena & Kahn signed a lease for 14,000 s/f in Tower One, a 280,000 s/f class A office building at 1250 Waters Place. Pena & Kahn is expanding from its current offices in the main building of the complex at 1200 Waters Place. New York Spine and Sport has also leased 5,541 s/f in Tower One. The medical practice is moving from offices on Eastchester Ave. In another medical lease, Empire State Orthopaedics is leasing 6,500 s/f in Tower One. The Hutchinson Metro Center has emerged as one of the most popular locations for medical practices, health care related companies and law firms specializing in personal injury law. The complex is currently home to some 30 medical practices including Montefiore Medical Center which recently opened its Orthopaedic Specialties Department on the 11th floor of Tower One. The Hutchinson Metro Center is located less than a mile from five major hospitals: Montefiore Medical Center, Jacobi Medical Center, Calvary Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Westchester Square Hospital.
