Goldberg of City Connections leases a total of 132,000 office space

According to David Schlamm, president of City Connections Realty, Inc., agent Herb Goldberg has completed a 132,000 s/f commercial office lease transaction located at 333 Westchester Ave. The search began two years ago, when Goldberg worked with Edward Warren and Company, Inc., and recently closed after his transition to City Connections Realty as Commercial Leasing Broker in the firm's commercial division team. The agreement was brokered for Amalgamated Life Insurance Company. The transaction resulted in a 15-year lease of the space. "We are thrilled to have Herb as part of the team, and his work on such a large transaction is truly commendable," said David Schlamm, President of City Connections Realty, Inc. According to David Walsh, president & CEO of Amalgamented, the move to White Plains was encouraged by the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency which offered financial incentives to the company. This will prove beneficial to policy holders and will ensure the company's ability to grow while sustaining it's "A" rating (A.M. Best Company) and while providing optimum amenities for its staff. The company will receive $480,000 in sales tax exemptions to help renovate and equip the class A space.
