Genovesi and Harte of Savills Studley represent Bliss spa in relocation to 200 Vesey Street

Bliss, the renowned spa service, beauty and skin care retailer, is relocating its corporate headquarters to 200 Vesey St. Savills Studley, the leading commercial real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, advised the company in the 10-year transaction. Savills Studley executive managing director Joseph Genovesi represented Bliss, along with assistant director John Harte. "Bliss' upcoming lease expiration provided a perfect opportunity for the company to reevaluate their real estate needs and consider alternative options. They remain committed to Downtown Manhattan and were excited to find a better overall value and amenities within Brookfield Place," Genovesi said. According to Genovesi, Bliss will be moving into a top flight office center with 300,000 s/f of new retail space and connectivity to the transit system. In addition, the Bliss offices will be fully renovated according to the company's direction and provides outstanding river and marina views. Harte said, "Despite increased activity in the Downtown market, there are still reasonable opportunities for tenants to find space in class A properties like Brookfield Place." Currently located at 75 Varick St., Bliss is expected to relocate in May, 2015. The landlord, Brookfield Properties, was represented in-house by David Cheikin and Clayton Kline along with John Wheeler of JLL.
