Dunphy of Rockrose reps landlord in 9,700 s/f lease for Mandell

Rockrose Development Corp. completed a retail lease with The Mandell School at The Archive, Rockrose's residential building in the city's West Village. Mandell will occupy 9,700 s/f on the ground floor of The Archive for pre-school classes. The Archive, a former U.S. Appraiser's warehouse listed as a N.Y.C. landmark, is located at 666 Greenwich St. The Archive has helped define the West Village since 1899. The 10-story building is distinguished by its red brick Romanesque Revival-style exterior and double-height arched windows. Patricia Dunphy, Rockrose SVP, said, "Living in the West Village is a truly special New York experience. The arrival of the Mandell School will further enhance the lifestyle of parents at The Archive and the neighborhood." Stu Morden, senior managing director, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank and Lindsey Ornstein, principal, Transwestern represented the tenant. Dunphy represented the landlord.
