Donovan accepts appointment to The Brain Tumor Foundation board of directors
Partner Thomas Donovan, head of Massey Knakal's Queens office, has accepted an invitation to join the Board of Directors of The Brain Tumor Foundation.
The foundation guides and supports patients and families during the turbulent times when their lives are touched by a brain tumor. The organization raises awareness among medical professionals and the public about the need for the early detection of brain tumors while continuing to offer support groups, medical referrals, peer matching programs and events including its annual conference.
Donovan had personal reasons for joining the board. Diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2006, he made a full recovery thanks to early detection.
Donovan attended St. John's University, where he majored in Business Management. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, he serviced as a N.Y.C. police officer. In 1997, he began his real estate career.
