Creative space provider Rockella signs 15-year lease for 16,243 s/f at GFP Real Estate’s 520 Eighth Avenue

Manhattan, NY According to GFP Real Estate, Rockella, provider of professional affordable studio spaces for artists and creatives seeking a community environment, has signed a new 15-year lease for 16,243 s/f of space on the 24th floor of 520 Eighth Ave. 

Matthew Mandell of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, GFP Real Estate in the transaction; Michael Joseph and Aidan Campbell of Colliers represented the tenant. The new space will be Rockella’s first Manhattan location and fourth overall when it opens in late Spring, 2025.

“We are delighted to welcome Rockella to 520 Eighth Ave.,” said Mandell. “The building’s flexible layouts and bright spaces are perfect for Rockella’s innovative operations. We are proud to be a part of their continued growth story while adding another great creative, arts-focused tenant at the building.”

Rockella’s new location, which will feature studio spaces ranging from 100 to 500 s/f, boasts oversized windows that provide city views and natural light.
