Avison Young bolsters Capital Markets platform with addition of executive managing director of U.S. Capital Markets

Manhattan, NY Avison Young, a global real estate advisory firm, has appointed Marion Jones as principal and executive managing director of U.S. Capital Markets. She will the lead the firm’s capital markets strategy, driving growth and market share and will continue to expand Avison Young’s client base, amplify the firm’s capital markets footprint across the U.S. and optimize the platform globally.  

“Marion’s extensive background in both middle market and institutional arenas will fuel the next chapter of our capital markets operations at a time when clients are looking for guidance more so than ever,” said Harry Klaff, Avison Young principal and U.S. president. “Client service is a top priority for Avison Young and Marion, which made her an excellent fit for this role.”

Jones brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience in debt, equity and sales, market expansion and executive growth strategies. She most recently served as managing director of Capital Markets at JLL where she advised clients navigating the ever-changing market. Jones also held roles at Ackman-Ziff, Eastern Consolidated and CBRE over the course of her career.

Jones will be based in Avison Young’s New York City office and serve on the firm’s U.S. Executive Committee.
