Cohen of Colliers International reps sub-landlord in 14,052 s/f sublease

Colliers International has arranged a short-term, 14,052 s/f sublease at 41 Madison Ave. on behalf of MacMillan Holdings, LLC, to accommodate the publishing firm's expansion. Including the new space on the 29th floor, MacMillan Holdings now occupies 56,000 s/f total in the tower, with existing space on floors 35, 37 and 38. "MacMillan Holdings is expanding and wanted to remain in the building, a premier office location with tremendous light and views," said Leon Manoff, vice chairman with the New York office of Colliers International, who represented MacMillan Holdings in the transaction. "They are in growth mode and wanted to expand their operations at this location." Jack Cohen, managing director with Colliers International, represented the sub-landlord, Stillwater Capital Markets. Located at the northwest corner of 26th St. opposite Madison Sq. Park, 41 Madison Ave. is a 42-story, 561,000 s/f office tower owned by Rudin Management. The building offers convenient access to multiple subway lines and Penn Station, with an on-site conference center. Other tenants in the building include restaurant A Voce, which occupies ground floor retail space along 26th Street, and the Supreme Court Appellate Division, among others.
