Cherko Fusco Realty sells 98 room Hampton Inn Fishkill

Fishkill, NY Cherko Fusco Realty brokered the sale of the Hampton Inn Fishkill, a renovated, 98-key hotel located at 544 Rte. 9.

Built in 1998, the four-story Hampton Inn provides the new ownership with an updated Hilton-branded asset in a well-established Hudson Valley lodging market.

“Fishkill is a market we have always viewed favorably because it isn’t dependent on any single demand generator,” said Bryce Cherko, principal of Cherko Fusco Realty.

“The hotel benefits from its accessibility along I-84 and Rte. 9 while drawing visitors from throughout the Hudson Valley. Between Beacon, the area’s outdoor recreation, sports, tourism and its proximity to Stewart International Airport, there are a number of reasons for bringing travelers through this corridor. Pair that with a recently renovated Hampton Inn product, and we believe Brightpath Hospitality is acquiring a very well-positioned asset.”

Cherko continued, “We’d like to sincerely thank River Link Hotels for entrusting Cherko Fusco Realty with the sale of the Hampton Inn Fishkill. We take a tremendous amount of pride in the responsibility our clients place in us when they choose our firm to represent an asset, and our goal is always to provide the same level of attention and commitment from the first conversation through the day of closing. We’d also like to thank Brightpath Hospitality for being a great counterparty throughout the process. Both groups approached the transaction professionally and worked collaboratively, which allowed us to keep the deal moving forward and ultimately deliver a smooth closing for everyone involved.”

“Eight hotel closings this year is something we’re extremely proud of, but we’re even more excited about where Cherko Fusco Realty is headed,” Cherko added. “We’ve built our business around being highly involved in every transaction, understanding the assets and markets we represent, and ultimately doing everything we can to deliver for our clients. As our national presence continues to grow, we’re bringing that same approach to increasingly larger and more sophisticated hospitality opportunities across the country.”

Located near Rte. 9 and I-84, the Hampton Inn Fishkill benefits from accessibility and a mix of leisure and transient demand. The hotel is located near Beacon, Dia Beacon, Hudson Highlands State Park, Dutchess Stadium and Stewart International Airport. Tourism remains a significant driver for the region, with Dutchess County generating $811 million in visitor spending in 2024, including more than $229 million in lodging expenditures. The town’s accessibility from New York City, Westchester County, Connecticut and the broader Northeast, coupled with the Hudson Valley’s growing reputation as a leisure destination, continues to support a diverse and resilient lodging market.
