Calamar welcomes Bennett as new general counsel

Calamar, a full-service real estate organization comprised of construction, development, property management, asset management and finance & investment divisions revealed the appointment of attorney Norman Bennett as corporate general counsel. Bennett has extensive experience in commercial real estate, finance and corporate transactions. Prior to joining Calamar, he successfully owned his own practice and represented numerous investors, private businesses, real estate owners and developers in a wide variety of commercial real estate, corporate and business transactions. Bennett earned his Juris Doctor degree from The University at Buffalo Law School. "We are very pleased to have Norm join our management team," said Calamar president & chairman Kenneth Franasiak. "His experience aligns perfectly with our core business divisions and the addition of his experience to the team will be an asset to our strategic growth." Bennett will be responsible for overseeing, identifying and managing all legal matters for the entire corporation including mergers & acquisitions, real estate transactions and best business practices.
