The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce will host its 11th Annual Building Brooklyn Awards (BBA) on Thursday, July 14 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music honoring Jed Walentas, principal, Two Trees Management Co., and Deb Howard, executive director, Pratt Area Community Council. Walentas will be honored for his long term commitment to sustainable neighborhood development in DUMBO, support of its arts community and ongoing work in the DUMBO Business Improvement District. Howard will be honored for her tenure at PACC which has been marked by PACC's entry into and success as a leader in the affordable housing market. The BBAs salute a wide range of project types, budgets and neighborhoods. This year's event will be hosted at the Brooklyn Academy of Music where the Chamber will highlight important design and construction achievements in Brooklyn.
