Blumenfeld Development Group signs Optimum to 5-year lease at The Crossings in Hunts Point

New York, NY Accoding to The Blumenfeld Development Group (BDG), Optimum, a communications and media company, has signed a 5-year lease at The Crossings in Hunts Point.

Optimum’s 2,000 s/f space has opened its doors which will be used as part of their cellular phone retail operation. 

Optimum is a major wireless and communications company, providing service to nearly 5 million customers across the United States.

The Crossings, a 40,000 s/f retail space and the largest of its kind in the area, is located at the corner of Southern Blvd. and Hunts Point Ave. and was BDG’s first endeavor in the borough. 

Since opening in the fall of 2017, the Crossings has served the Bronx community with a variety of tenants across industry and sector including: Dollar Tree, McDonalds, Fresh City Deli, Revive Physical Therapy and Bank of America.

“We are pleased to welcome Optimum to The Crossings family and are excited to partner with such a respected name in the retail and communications industry,” said Brad Blumenfeld, vice president, Blumenfeld Development Group. “The Bronx continues to see rapid growth and expansion and the Blumenfeld Development Group is proud to be a part of this exciting time for the community.”

BDG was represented by Karnit Mosberg of Royal Properties and Optimum was represented by Chris Walther, Benjamin Weiner and Jeff Howard of Ripco Real Estate.
