Belyi and Alafoyiannis of Greiner-Maltz sell two Astoria properties

Greiner-Maltz has completed the two recent sales of 24-24 Steinway St., and 31-18 24th Ave., both in the Astoria neighborhood. In early 2007, Isabella Appliance Co., a landmark with more than 50 years in business, appointed Greiner-Maltz brokers, Dmitri Belyi and Kostas Alafoyiannis as their exclusive agents in order to sell their existing 2,500 s/f store at 24-24 Steinway St. along with an additional 4,500 s/f of warehouse space at 31-18 24th Ave. A few months later, the two properties were both under contract, and have recently sold for $ 2.8 million (an average price of $400 per s/f). The properties were acquired by local investors with plans to renovate and possibly expand the existing buildings. In both transactions the seller and the purchasers were represented by senior director, Belyi and director, Alafoyiannis.
