Barrack named managing partner of Rosenberg & Estis

According to Rosenberg & Estis, P.C., Luise Barrack has been promoted to managing partner. Gary Rosenberg, the chairman and president of Rosenberg & Estis, who has been the firm's managing partner since its inception, is handing over the day-to-day management of the firm to Barrack. Barrack joined Rosenberg & Estis in 1984. She has 30 years of litigation experience and heads the firm's litigation practice along with Warren Estis. Barrack handles complex commercial leasehold, construction and insurance disputes, partnership and not-for-profit corporation law. She represents residential real estate owners and developers in assemblages and demolitions, labor and human rights issues and is experienced in the resolution of cooperative and condominium issues and shareholder disputes. Barrack is also one of New York's leading Loft Law experts and represents owners before the N.Y.C. Loft Board. She also represents owners before administrative agencies including the NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR), the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA), and the NYS Division of Human Rights. "We are very excited that Luise will now serve as managing partner," said Rosenberg. "Luise is exceptionally focused and committed to excellence, and Rosenberg & Estis will be enhanced by her skill and vision. In addition, having Luise take over this significant responsibility will allow me more time to focus on many of the firm's core clients that are actively developing new projects." "Rosenberg & Estis is an outstanding firm," said Barrack. "We are on the cutting edge of real estate law and provide our clients in all sectors of real estate with experienced, quality and hands-on representation. I am thrilled to have been chosen to lead the firm into its next chapter." Barrack was designated as a Super Lawyer by New York Metro Super Lawyer magazine in 2008 and 2009. She was honored by Real Estate New York magazine as a Women of Influence in 2008 and 2009.Luise Barrack, Rosenberg & Estis
